Island Pistolmen Beat The Citadel
Parris Island's pistol team took a match from The Citadel, 1,383 — 1,374, here Friday night, avenging a defeat from the Cadets the previous week in Charleston.
The contest ended the season for the Marines with a record of three wins and one loss.
TSgt. Jesse A. Davenport was top shooter for the night, getting a total of 279 out of the possible 300 points.
