International Shooting Badge
The International Shooting Union has made a special badge available for award in the ISU World Championships, the Olympic Games, and the Pan American Games for equaling or exceeding certain scores for the different courses. This distinctive award has been presented by the NRA to shooters who earned them while members of the U.S. teams in such competitions since August 1958. The badge is gilt, with a replica of the hammer from a percussion-type rifle as part of the design, and bears the initials of the International Shooting Union.
Qualifying scores for the various courses are as follows:
- Free-Rifle - 382 Prone
- Free-Rifle - 370 Kneeling
- Free-Rifle - 345 Standing
- Smallbore Rifle - 385 Prone
- Smallbore Rifle - 375 Kneeling
- Smallbore Rifle - 350 Standing
- Smallbore Rifle - 1100 Full Course
